1. HAS

Has” is a singular anomalous verb.

Has” always goes with 3rd person, singular pronouns or singular subject. Example: He, She, It

2. HAVE

Have” is a plural form of “has”.

Note: In this case, “have” always goes with plural nouns.

Please, Don’t be confused because I used “I” with “have“. The rule is an exception. Remember, in almost every grammar rules, we have exceptions. Although “I” is singular, it always goes with “have”. eg. I Have a car. I Have money. etc.

“Had” is used as past participle.

Like i told you, “Had” as the past tense of “has” and “have” can go with either singular or plural nouns.

Eg.

  • I had a car.
  • She had a car.
  • He had a car.
  • We had a car.
  • You had a car

These sentences indicate that the subjects possessed a car in the past
