GDSS YOLDE PATE STUDENTS LAUDS GOV. FINTIRI FREE EDUCATION POLICY

The students of Government Day Secondary School (GDSS) Yolde Pate in Yola South Local Government Area have lauded Adamawa State Governor, Rt Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri policy on free education.

Appreciating Governor Fintiri for the free education policy that impacted positively on Adamawa students, Sarah Samuel, a student of GDSS Yolde Pate said that the free education in the state has allowed final year students in all public schools in Adamawa to write their final year examinations.

She said in the past, some final year secondary school students were not opportune to write Senior Secondary School Examinations due to lack of funds, but the Governor Fintiri’s administration has changed the negative story by paying their SSCE fee which will enable children of the masses to be enrolled in tertiary institutions.

A cross-section of the GDSS Yolde Pate Students who were optimistic to pass their SSCE thanked Governor Fintiri for his administration’s free education policy, describing it as the best solution to recruiting out-of-school children.
