Dr. Tarnongu Cautions Students On Examination Malpractice

The Benue State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Saawuan Tarnongu Ph.D. has restated that the Benue State Government will not condone examination malpractice.

The Honourable Commissioner made this known during the inspection of the ongoing Benue Education Certificate Examination (BECE) which commenced today 31st May 2022

The Honorable Commissioner who visited Anglican Secondary School, Mount St. Gabriel Secondary School, and Government Girls College Makurdi, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the examination

Dr. Tarnongu assured the students of his constant inspection and charged them to be committed to their educational pursuit, noting that there is joy when you pass exams through your hard work and commitment, he further admonished them to distance themselves from social vices capable of harming lives.

The Honourable Commissioner was accompanied on the visit by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mrs. Margret Ikpe, Executive Secretary, Benue State Examination Board, Dr. Isaac Hon, and Special Adviser to the Governor on Secondary Tertiary Education, Hon. Otse Otokpa

Also on the visit were Directors, Secondary Education, and that of Quality Assurance, Ministry of Education, Mrs. Sembe Saamo and Mrs. Dorcas Igbahena respectively.
